Restaurant with panoramic views
Indulge in our mouth-watering dishes, while you soak up the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain range. From the restaurant, you can see the whole of Flaine and the Scandinavian-style village of Hameau. Our restaurant also offers views of several ski-slopes. Dormio Restaurant Flaine 1850 owes its name to its location, which is at an altitude of 1,850 metres. It is the highest restaurant in Flaine!

Would you like to try the authentic regional cuisine? Then we recommend you try the Tartiflette oven dish, Fondue Savoyarde cheese fondue or locally produced sausages called Diots. These regional dishes are definitely worth a try!

Our extensive breakfast buffet ensures that your day gets off to a really good start. From fresh croissants to fruit salads, yoghurt and cereals or sandwiches with jams and spreads, cheese and sliced cooked meats, this continental breakfast buffet has something for everyone!
Themed evenings and après-ski
Every week we organise fun themed evenings at Dormio Restaurant Flaine 1850. You can join us for a Soyard evening with stone grilling or cheese fondue or an Italian evening with delicious specialities from Italian cuisine.
During the winter season, we also have après-ski on the outdoor terrace twice a week. On which days? That can vary from week to week, which allows us to take advantage of the best weather. Raise your glass of beer, wine, génépi liqueur or mulled wine on a beautiful day in the Alps accompanied by festive music!

A special location in Flaine
Dormio Restaurant Flaine 1850 is located in the charming ski resort Dormio Resort Les Portes Du Grand Massif. The traditional chalets match the cosy character of the mountain village. Whether you come to visit the restaurant or are staying overnight, everyone is welcome. Putting our guests first and creating the best possible experience is always our priority.
Opening hours and bookings
During the winter season (from 16 December 2023 to 19 April 2024), we are open daily. Outside the winter season, our restaurant is closed.
Breakfast: 8 am – 10 am hours
Drinks: from 4 pm
Dinner: 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
